We are now offering more designs than ever and are looking to extend our wedding accessories soon. Aurora Gems was set up in 2007 and all jewellery is designed by Sheila Deaville-Lockhart, who has attended a number of design courses.

 Handmade jewellery has a specialness and a uniqueness that you just don’t get with mass produced jewellery. You know the chances of anyone else having the same piece of jewellery as you are slim. There is something more spontaneous and unique about a handmade item.

We also offer a bespoke service, so if you need a special piece designing, we can design for you. Please contact us for this service and remember, because all items are handcrafted, we can adjust sizings before sending items out ~ just let us know your requirements.

Many of our designs are inspired by nature's wonderful colours and shapes, such as the honeysuckles ingenuity for wrapping around itself and other plants or the subtle shades in so many of our flowers.
